The event has now passed. The 1st East of England Undergraduate & Foundation Otolaryngology Conference on Saturday 6th October 2018 was very a successful event. We would like to thank our inspiring faculty along with the 105 delegates who attended. See you all at the 2nd East of England Conference in 2020!
The undergraduate ENT Societies of the Cambridge and Norwich medical schools are collaborating to organise the 1st East of England Undergraduate & Foundation Otolaryngology Conference.
The conference will take place on Saturday 6th October 2018 hosted at Addenbrooke’s Hospital – School of Clinical Medicine, University of Cambridge. Through this event, we hope to further cultivate interest in the specialty, the training pathway, as well as promote current research in otolaryngology from the East Anglia region and further afield.
The day will consist of two keynote lectures, four student/foundation doctor oral presentations, a poster competition and a series of workshops covering ENT emergencies, audiology, women in ENT (WENTS), global health, collaborative research, surgical portfolio, and the academic training pathway.
The event has been organised by the Student & Foundation Doctors in Otolaryngology (SFO-UK) Regional Representatives for Cambridge and Norwich in collaboration with the Cambridge University ENT Society and the Norwich Undergraduate ENT Society.
